Raised on the southern California coast, David
has spent time in various different locations both in this country and
overseas. A western Sonoma County resident for over twenty-five
years, many interests became integrated with a rural lifestyle that
involved reforesting large land areas following the Creighton Ridge
fire of 1978 and building and maintaining an "off-the-grid" alternative
energy home. He has an invariable tendency to get involved and
say it like it is, a trait that has involved him in successful
struggles with governmental agencies that, in his opinion, have failed
the public trust. As a renaissance man, his interests are
diverse, touching upon just about anything affecting the history and
natural design of our world. He's a past board member of the Fort
Ross Interpretive Association. He currently is president of the
Jenner Community Club and he sits on the Sonoma Coast Advisory
Committee to the California Department of Parks and Recreation.
He resides just out of KGGV's broadcast range in a slow dial-up area;
it follows that his grumpy photo will be updated to a smiley one when
that situation changes.
